I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master, the deliverer of the fallen souls. His mercy turns the dumb into eloquent speakers and enables the lame to cross mountains.
Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you on this auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja.
While our Harinama and book distribution continues with all the devotees per your instructions, one thing remarkable, happened this year. When you visited Houston for the first time, Sri (Sridevi) and I signed up, morning breakfast serving over the weekend. We were not sure whether we were serving correctly and to your satisfaction. Second day, I think, when after all serving completed, you had prasadam and got up to wash hands and gestured to see who cooked. I came forward kneeling down to understand what you may need. You gestured, NOT YOU, and then looked over and saw Sri, kneeling down and nodded with blissful smile and satisfaction. That blissful smile with satisfied nod is captured in our minds and a feeling that Sri satisfied the Super Soul, Krsna remained in our hearts. We’re still not able to comprehend how you read our minds as we were thinking whether we’re serving correctly and to your satisfaction.
Please allow and bless us to serve you and Vaisnavas better.
Your humble servants,
Sridevi A and Raghava Caitanya dasa
