Our Dear and Most Respected Guru Maharaja,
Hare Krsna. Please accept our most humble obeisances in the dust of your divine Lotus Feet. All glories to your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Guru Maharaja, as we sit down to write our Vyasa-puja offering our thoughts are going to all the wonderful gifts we have received and are still receiving from you. When we look back and contemplate, we are overwhelmed by your magnanimous compassion, causeless mercy, love, and affection upon all of us. Guru Maharaja, we are very grateful and eternally indebted to you for all the gifts, love, and affection that we have been profusely and incessantly receiving from you! Thank you very much Guru Maharaja! Accepting Dayakeli as one of your disciples is one of your most recent gifts and an act of causeless mercy upon us.
While trying to realize how important it is to seek the association of the Spiritual Master and devotees, we remembered one of the celebrated verses of Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.25.25 Srila Prabhupada very nicely emphasizes this point in the purport
‘To understand the personal activities of the Lord, one has to seek the association of devotees, and by such association, when one contemplates and tries to understand the transcendental activities of the Lord, the path to liberation is open, and he is freed. One who has firm faith in the Supreme Personality of Godhead becomes fixed, and his attraction for association with the Lord and the devotees increases. Association with devotees means association with the Lord. The devotee who makes this association develops the consciousness for rendering service to the Lord, and then, being situated in the transcendental position of devotional service, he gradually becomes perfect.” [From Purport of Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.25.25]
We are so fortunate to have you as our Guru Maharaja. Thank you for very patiently tolerating our short comings and consistently inundating us with your transcendental love and affection directly and indirectly through the association and presence of many wonderful and inspiring devotees in our lives. We remain eternally grateful and indebted to you. We sincerely seek your divine blessings and mercy to be able to dive deeper into the Nectarian Ocean of the all purifying
Holy Name of the Supreme Lord, to internalize your deep and profound instructions and consistently strive to apply them to the best of our abilities.
Please accept our prostrated obeisances unto your divine Lotus Feet again and again!!!
All glories to you Guru Maharaja! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!!
