Yugala Kisora dasa, Madhumati devi dasi, Samruddhi, and Gauranga
Our dear and most respected Spiritual Master,
Please accept our most humble obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja, we are grateful for the opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for our spiritual master.
Your deepest concerns are for the long-term welfare of the devotees, to train us and see us steadily situated in Krsna consciousness and to preserve and pass it on to future generations. You train us by setting own example. In recent challenging situation, you are going from one place to other place preaching and training devotees, tolerating all inconveniences and taking all the risks. You are following the principle you have mentioned in your class on Srimad-Bhagavatam (3.19.26-31)
“The real purpose of life is to please the Supreme Lord in all circumferences”.
Srila Prabhupada writes in purport Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.10.36 “Although Lord has no obligatory duty, still He does everything so that others may follow. That is the way of factual teaching; one must act properly himself and teach the same to others, otherwise no one will accept one’s blind teaching.” Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami writes in (CC. Madhya Lila 12.84) “Indeed, hundreds of devotees were engaged in cleansing all around the temple, and SriCaitanya Mahaprabhu was personally carrying out the operation just to instruct others.” Lord sets an example by His behavior and so do His pure devotees. Srila Prabhupada writes in another purport Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.9.40 “The pure devotees of the Lord, like Brahma and persons in the chain of disciplic succession, do not do anything to instruct their subordinates without acting accordingly themselves.”
Guru Maharaja, as I was going through the challenging health situation, I requested Your Divine Grace to guide me on how to handle the situation, despite your busy schedule, you compiled the teachings from different scriptures and from classes of previous acaryas and sent the document to me. Guru Maharaja, we are recognizing that all this special love and care is extended to us just so that we can become more matured devotees.
While hearing one of your recorded classes, when the class was around one-fourth of total duration and the scheduled topic was completely discussed and over, then I was wondering what’s in there for rest of three-fourths of time. I was mesmerized with what later unfolded. In fact, in the previous class one devotee had asked the question and you had answered it. But it appeared to you that devotee was not satisfied with the answer. So, to re-answer, you had dedicated the rest of the class. It was nothing but another example of your great act of deep love and care for your disciples.
Though it is not possible for a conditioned soul like us to fully realize the untiring efforts but we are eternally grateful to you and your confidential servants Syamakunda Prabhu and Vinodini Mataji to guide us on the path of highest goal of life- a life dedicated to a service of Supreme Personality of Godhead. We are so fortunate to be recipients of such causeless mercy.
We sincerely pray from core of our heart to Lord Nrsimhadeva to protect and bless you, so that you can carry out the orders and spread the message of your spiritual master, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.
Kindly forgive us for our offenses and mistakes committed knowingly or unknowingly.
Your aspiring to be aspirant servants,
