Adhoksaja dasa, Deepika, Gopika and Gaurasundar
Dearest Guru Maharaja,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace and all glories to Srila Prabhupada.
This year marks the centennial anniversary (1922-2022) of Srila Prabhupada receiving the order from His Spiritual Master Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Maharaja to preach in the west. I was listening to the song “Srila Prabhupada Krpopahara-Stavah” written in the glorification of Srila Prabhupada’s books, offered by senior Vaisnavas on this sacred occasion. The song reminded me of your emphasis on reading and hearing from Srila Prabhupada’s books.
Guru Maharaja, it has been several years since I have taken shelter at your lotus feet, and I have personally observed your never-ending enthusiasm to read and spread the message from Srila Prabhupada’s books. Hearing these pure devotional nectarine purports from you, we get the benefit of associating with guru, sadhu, and sastra at the same time as these books are indeed manifested form of Srila Prabhupada. Sadhu, sastra, guru vakya, cittete koriya aikya. Spiritual realization can be perfected by three parallel processes.
Srila Prabhupada had so much compassion for us that even after finishing His lila in this material world, He reminded his devotees before his passing that he would live forever in his books and provided us an opportunity to directly associate with Him in form of translated Vedic texts. In your association Guru Maharaja, I have experienced the same compassion of distributing this nectar for the ultimate benefit of the world at large. I have heard you many times in your classes that how important His books are and that we should read them.
Thank you for this continuous instruction as it has helped me to make the endeavor to try and read more books. Please bless us so that we can follow your instructions and become a worthy servant of yours.
Aspiring to be an eternal servant of your divine instructions,
Adhoksaja dasa, Bhaktin Deepika, Bhaktin Gopika and Bhakta Gaurasundar
