Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On this auspicious day of your appearance, I want to express my deepest gratitude. On this day I am reminded of your compassion and kindness to anyone who is associated to you. Your compassion is shown by the way you give Krsna to everyone who comes to you. No matter how fallen or how advanced an aspiring devotee is, you constantly continue to encourage. The biggest gift that You have given me is the sense of Krsna’s presence in every aspect of my life. You showed me His charisma. You filled my heart with gratitude, with faith and hope.

As I continue to chant the holy names, I realize the depth of my conditioning, it continues to expand endlessly. Each day requires a heartfelt outcry for mercy, as this ocean of material life appears insurmountable. The only hope I have is Your mercy that this material ocean can be crossed. It is by Your mercy that I have an opportunity to end this devastating existence. It is by Your mercy that I can become qualified to progress. You are my only shelter. On this very auspicious day, I beg for your blessing and mercy so that I continue to cultivate the determination to attentively chant the holy names.

On this day, I pray to Guru and Gauranga to keep me always under the shelter.

Your most fallen servant,
Antardvipa dasa
