My dear Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

On this auspicious and joyful day, we welcome the day of your guru-puja celebration, as well as the appearance day of the Supreme Lord and the day of Srila Prabhupada. By the mercy of the Lord, I am able to meet you in this life, my beloved Gurudeva. How could a soul as ignorant and fall as me be so lucky?! I bow down to you deeply, my Gurudeva! Kneeling at your lotus feet, my heart is full of gratitude!

I know that I am not qualified to serve your lotus feet directly, so please kindly let me meditate upon your lotus feet and take shelter under your lotus feet.

My dear Gurudeva, I am a small plant, let me bathe in your nectarean words. Your light and heat nourish me, comfort me, warm me, and urge me onwards! Thank you for your infinite mercy! Gurudeva, please let me always accept your teachings, take shelter of you and stand firmly to follow you. Only by the mercy of the spiritual master can I awaken my stupid and fallen soul, and only in this way can I progress on the spiritual path, and only in this way can I walk firmly and confidently on the path of devotion.

May Lord Krsna and Lord Balarama bless my Gurudeva and let all be well! May your preaching be smooth and successful!! You have worked hard! I deeply worship you on bended knees!
