My most respected and beloved Guru Maharaja and eternal father,
nama om visnu-padaya krsna-presthaya bhu-tale
srimate romapada-svamin iti namine
om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana salakaya
caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sri gurave namah
Please accept my most humble and most respectful obeisances in the dust of Your most merciful divine lotus feet. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Your Divine Grace!
On the most auspicious day of my eternal father and spiritual master’s appearance day, my heart is celebrating the biggest festival in deep gratitude and prayers and mood of begging for mercy.
I want to express my deepest heartfelt gratitude and indebtedness for giving me real shelter (that is so rare in this age of kali). The transcendental umbrella of shelter of Your most merciful divine lotus feet is giving me supreme protection from material energy and at the same time greatest nourishment for my Krsna consciousness.
My words will never be enough and appropriate to express my heartfelt gratitude for saving me from darkness of ignorance by blessing me with most valuable gifts of Your compassion, mercy, blessings, unconditional love and acceptance, devotee relationships, training and guidance, unlimited nectar through recorded and lectures, letters, yatras, retreats….
On this most auspicious day of Your appearance, from the deepest core of my heart I call out and beg for Your causeless mercy to please, please give me a drop of Your oceanic mercy so that I can respect, appreciate and glorify good in others not looking at the faults and not desire respect or honor for myself (amanina manadena). May my only desire be to serve You in the mood of being servant of Your servants and be a tiny instrument in Your service to Srila Prabhupada.
I offer prayers to Lord Nrsimhadeva for Your perfect health and protection from envious forces. (Even though I am not qualified and pure)
O my eternal father O the ocean of mercy O the deliverer of most fallen, I bow down onto Your most merciful divine lotus feet again and again, please accept my most humble and most respectful obeisances.
