Radhakanta dasa
Most respected and dearest Guru Maharaja,
Hare Krsna! Please accept my most respectful prostrated humble obeisances. All glories to the Founder acarya of ISKCON, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. All glories! All glories! All glories at the dust of your divine lotus feet! All glories to you.
My first encounter with you and your kind gesture in the Fall of 2019 touched a deep chord in my heart. At the end of your lecture, I walked up to you and requested you to bless me to walk the path of Krsna consciousness for the rest of my life. And you asked me “Are you sure?”. I said Yes. And you smilingly blessed me and gave me the garland you were wearing around your neck. And I paid obeisances at your lotus feet. That was the moment, I believe, you became my guru. Though the actual process of me seeking your formal shelter happened a year later.
Your transcendental qualities of calmness, compassion, dedication, and faith inspires me to move ahead in the chosen spiritual path. I always cherish your simple and direct responses to questions. I’m amazed at the amount of work you put in preparing for the lectures and your attention to detail in every slide you present and every line you read. I’ve been told that you are always engrossed in listening to Prabhupada’s lectures, working on your notes, preparing for your next presentation and no one has seen you do anything but this. This inspires me and so many devotees who are fortunate to have your association to do our little seva in our own modest way.
I’m so grateful to you for showering your blessings on me and the rest of my family by visiting our home twice and during your visit to our city and local temple. With your grace, I’m humbly reporting to you that all my family members are deeply grounded in daily sadhana including my 12-year-old who does 4 rounds of japa every day. I can see the miracle of transformation in all aspects of my life – personal, relationships, professional, financial, and more importantly spiritual. I am deeply indebted to your generosity in accepting me as your disciple. Due to my inability, I am unable to take your direct association as often as I would like to, but you are so kindly making yourself available to us always through your live streamed lectures.
It’s always refreshing to see your brilliant effulgent smiling face and very assuring presence, Guru Maharaja. I sincerely pray to the Lord Krsna to bless all of us with many many more years of continued association with you. Please bless me that I may cultivate implicit faith in your words and prepare myself to dedicate this life as a service at your lotus feet.
Your insignificant aspiring servant,
