Respected Guru Maharaja,

Hare Krsna! Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all glories to Your Divine Grace.

This auspicious occasion of your divine appearance day provides us with the opportunity to open our hearts and count our blessings.

Guru Maharaja, we are maintained on the path of pure devotional service only because of your merciful arrangements made through the association of devotees especially the very kind and tolerant association of Jagadananda Prabhuji and Ananda Vrndavana Mataji.

Daily hearing your recorded lectures in the association of devotees is the only force which keeps us inspired and enthusiastic to achieve Krsna consciousness. Your lectures are a storehouse of practical devotional service rendered with gratitude towards sri-guru.

Guru Maharaja, we have been realizing that because you have an eye of compassion over us, we have steady opportunities to realize our actual tiny position in this world and the huge false ego which we are carrying with us. The false ego levels are not at all commensurate with our actual position. There is actually no one to be blamed outside. We need the good vision to understand and practically apply the teaching of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura.

There is no other way of being delivered from this world. Whatever Godhead does is for our good. We can be redeemed if we behold His mercy in every event and in every activity. But if we notice any defects in His works or realize any cruelty therein, it is sure to result in evil and difficulty for us.” (Quoted at page 84 of Bhurijana Prabhuji’s Japa Book under the section – How to See Difficulties)

Guru Maharaja, we pay our prostrated obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet and seek the spiritual strength to actually realize the above. Only when you will be pleased with our sincere practice, would we get a glimpse of our real position. We beg this from you as we are sure we cannot earn this realization by our efforts alone and that there is no one but you who could provide this gift to us.

With deepest gratitude,

Your servants,
Devamira dasa and Sravaniya devi dasi
