caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sri gurave namah

nama om visnu-padaya krsna-presthaya bhu-tale
srimate romapada-svamin iti namine

mukam karoti vacalam pangum langhayate girim
yat-krpa tam aham vande sri gurum dina-taranam

Respected and dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at the dust of your divine Lotus Feet. All glories to your divine grace, all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Hare Krsna Guru Maharaja, I am thankful for this opportunity to share my appreciation and little glorification I have in my heart about you. Guru Maharaja, it’s been 20 years that I got your first darsana and got an opportunity to hear from you Srimad-Bhagavatam in Hyderabad. So much changed externally in this world and I have grown 20 years older. But one thing which constantly remained is your causeless mercy and your encouragement. The way you extend yourself to so many souls, is very commendable. Your fidelity and chastity to Srila Prabhupada and his teachings is remarkable.

You always make sure you are living Srila Prabhupada’s teachings. You are an example of an ideal disciple. This really inspires me. No matter what it takes for Srila Prabhupada’s service you are always there. It could be preaching in areas like China or fighting Long Island case on behalf of ISKCON. You are a person of action and your gratitude for Srila Prabhupada in not in words only but you live a life of gratitude. There is transparency in whatever you do.

Your care for devotees is remarkable, you care for us just as a loving father cares for his children. No matter how immature or rebellious I am, you have been extending yourself for past many years. It gives me lot of happiness when I remember I belong to you. That is the only thing I have in my life. Though I am not qualified, you have accepted me as your disciple. In Your presence, I see Srila Prabhupada’s and Krsna’s causeless mercy upon me. I see Srila Prabhupada’s causeless mercy manifested in the Deities of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan, Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra in the temple in Hyderabad. I am indebted to Srila Prabhupada for giving this temple. Had Srila Prabhupada not built this temple and installed these Deities, I would not have met you here in Hyderabad. I was the only one in my family who wasn’t living the American dream of going to America and making a career there. I wanted to remain here in India. Just as Srila Prabhupada came for you to America, I always felt that Guru Maharaja you came to Hyderabad temple for me.

May you please bless me that I do not take this causeless mercy for granted and value the gift of holy name, Deities, holy dhama, all Vaisnavas and your association. Thank you Guru Maharaja for everything that you have given me.

May you forgive all my offenses.
