Sri Sundari devi dasi
Dear Gurudeva,
On the occasion of your auspicious appearance day please accept my devotional obeisances and heartfelt blessings from your humble disciple Sri Sundari devi dasi. I wish you good health and success in your mission!
Five years have passed since I first met you in the summer of 2018. During these five years, I have grown under your merciful blessings and attentive guidance. I received second enlightenment by your mercy this year. Under your benevolent shelter and leadership, in the warmth of Krsna’s family and teachings I feel safe, happy and hopeful. I have found my home, my dear spiritual father, my spiritual brothers and sisters who support me and walk together. I have finally found my purpose in life and am taking one step towards it.
As a representative of Krsna, a devoted disciple of Srila Prabhupada, a direct descendant of the parampara you are the perfect embodiment of devotional service, the goal and guarantee of our return to our spiritual home. Your every word and deed set an example for us, your every smile is engraved in our hearts, your teachings and instructions are the inexhaustible motivation for us to move forward. My feelings for you are getting more and more clear. Attachment to You is the way for me to reach my goal! Let me keep You in the deepest recesses of my heart, always thinking how to please You, join You in Your missionary endeavors. Dear Gurudeva, once again give me the mercy and strength to hold on to Your dhoti and never let go of it, till eternity.
On receiving first initiation I took vow to dedicate the rest of my life to serving the mission of Srila Prabhupada. I sincerely pledge to follow your example and join you in your missionary endeavors, dedicating my body, mind, speech and all that I possess to serving you by giving my modest contribution in the mission of Krsna consciousness.
I have no ability or qualification whatsoever and it is solely out of your causeless mercy I have been able to attain Krsna’s knowledge and move forward in it. Request you to please look favorably upon this fallen, ignorant and foolish child give mercy and strength. Please accept me as a humble member of Your cause and allow me to do a little humble effort and service. This is my plea and my call! I am not worthy at all, but You are merciful. I am like a little squirrel that can only catch a few grains of sand, or the nameless flower that has no fragrance but because of Your causeless mercy, I can have the opportunity to do a little service and realize the value of my life.
Once again, I wish you a very happy birthday! May my dear father’s blessings be as long as the East Sea and his life as long as the pines of South Mountain! Missionary endeavors may flourishing!
Your humble disciple,
Sri Sundari devi dasi
