Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to You and Srila Prabhupada!

On this day, we are feeling immensely fortunate to be among hundreds to celebrate a remarkable and extraordinary person. One who values relationships deeply, pays close attention to the details, who becomes joyous in presenting the glories of the Vedas in creative and relatable ways especially to college audiences, whose patience astounds and amazes, who encourages all to take deeper shelter of the holy names, whose heart sings the glories of the Srimad-Bhagavatam all day long, and who strives with every action to see Srila Prabhupada’s smile.

It is incredible to witness your capacity to love deeply in so many ways – how you orchestrate events to inspire the devotees (many times behind the scenes), how you fiercely protect against anything that may threaten the fledgling bhakti creeper inside us, and most importantly, how you gently encourage us in our journey toward growing up. 

Reflecting on your glories, we pray for the strength to go beyond our comfort zones, the intelligence needed to be able to assist you and your dear disciples and we pray that we never forget the love and mercy that keeps us coming to Krsna day after day.
