Most respected Romapada Gurudeva,

On the occasion of your auspicious Vyasa-puja day, please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet! All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s preaching mission.

The Lord’s devotees are the happiest. The Lord personally takes care of us and sends His representatives to personally guide us in this world. After stepping down, I relaxed my mind and wanted to take a good break, and then train on japa to improve its quality. I feel like I’m already 70 years old, and I just want to set an example for young people. In fact, subconsciously, I have the idea of not taking responsibility for anything and relaxing to practice life. But you felt my emotions on the other side of the United States, so you wrote to Surabhi devi dasi and I replied to tell you my thoughts. Your reply encouraged me to step up my studies of sastra and improve the quality of japa after stepping down, and to become a role model for young people. Finally, you gave me a famous quote from a sage: “The true need of a person is not a state of not being nervous, but to strive for a worthwhile goal. What he needs is not to release tension at all costs, but to call for a potential meaning waiting for him to achieve.”

You are the representative of the Paramatma, and seeing that I want to relax my service. Therefore your words have removed the impurity from my heart. Is there anything more meaningful than the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s chanting of the holy name movement? I must continue to work hard, use your tools to provide services, and devote myself wholeheartedly to the development of the great family established by Srila Prabhupada for the benefit of the world.
