My dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances again and again in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana salakaya
caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sri gurave namah

On the occasion of the most auspicious event of the year, Vyasa-puja, we want to express our humble gratitude for inviting Nimai-Nitai to our home and giving us the opportunity to serve Them on your behalf though we are not qualified to serve Them. It is your kind mercy that you invited Them, and They were very happy during the Deity installation ceremony. It is similar to Prahlada Maharaja inviting Lord Nrsimhadeva in the pillar. We are also grateful for your personal presence in our Deity room, for every prayer or offering we make to Lordships, we request you to accept it on Their behalf and offer it to the Lord. Though we are struggling with our services to the Lord, you are accepting them with your causeless mercy.

Your auspicious presence at Potomac temple on the blissful occasion of new temple opening, and Your first arati to Sri Sri Radha Madana-mohana was so blissful that it felt like you are serving the Lordships in Goloka Vrndavana. We are very grateful to you for giving us this special moment and blessing us with your kind mercy to remember this at every moment.

We are very grateful to you for blessing us with opportunities to support audio/video services. With your kind blessings we got an opportunity to associate with Sankha-dhari Prabhuji Syamananda Prabhuji, Vamsidhari Prabhuji and Laksmikanta Prabhuji in your VA/DC/MD/Gita-Nagari trip.

During our Potomac temple services as backup, we were always seeking your mercy for performing our duties. At the same time, we could always feel your presence in the form of help we were receiving under challenging situations like when we didn’t know how to arrange for Lord’s abhisekam paraphernalia. Our humble request to you is to keep us dependent on you in all our activities, such that we always remember you.

We are very grateful to you for engaging us at your lotus feet as a humble service to our teenage kids, who are struggling to adopt Krsna consciousness. As parents we are also struggling in many ways because of our attachment to them and getting bewildered during our service and failing on all fronts. But we are looking up to you and begging for your unlimited mercy to save us from this attachment and cultivate the mode of service attitude.

We greatly appreciate yours and Nityananda Prabhuji’s kind mercy in blessing us with the association of Sri Vaisnava acarya Kandadai Ramanujacarya, who has gracefully accepted to teach Sri Ramayana in Telugu. His association is helping us to understand his appreciation for Sri Ramayana teachings.

We are taking shelter of Periyalvar (Visnucitta) prayers where Sri Vaisnava Alvar is praying for Lord’s protection.

pallandu pallandu pallayirattandu
pala kodi nurayiram
mallanda tindol manivanna!
un sevadi sevvi tirukkappu

“For many years, many years, for many thousands of years,
For several crores of thousand years
Oh Lord who is of the color of emerald gem,
Who with his powerful shoulders won over the wrestlers,
May the prettiness of Your divine red feet be protected.”

[From Nalayira Divya Prabandham (collection of four thousand verses composed by the twelve Alvars), benedictory hymn in Tamil dedicated to Lord Krsna]

We are requesting Periyalvar to bless our Guru Maharaja for many years, many years, for many thousands of years, for several crores of thousand years of good health to save many fallen souls like us.

Our humble prayers to Sabari (From Ramayana) who surrendered to Sage Matanga. Similarly, please bless us with a drop of your strength and mercy to surrender at the dust of our beloved Gurudeva!!

Your aspiring servants,
Girivara Dhari dasa and Sriya devi dasi
