Dear merciful Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All Glories to You, Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Kishore Kisori.

Maharaja, once again, it’s another year to reflect on your mercy and your acceptance of our fallen souls. Over the years, your instructions and preaching have been etched into my memory. I can recall how you would always say, “read Srila Prabhupada’s books” and I’m thankful that you keep repeating this in the hope that some of us will take up reading. Well, it’s my hundredth time trying to do bhakti–sastri and I pray I will learn as much as possible and be successful and of use to Lord Caitanya’s mission and your instructions.

Today, Aug 11th, as I sat in Sri Sri Kisore Kisori temple reading from Srila Prabhupada-lilamrta for the pleasure of the Deities, I thought, if Guru Maharaja knew, he would be pleased, so then let me try and read on.

Such a wonderful soul you are! By your example, we can only endeavor to do some devotional service. Your mercy for us is so enormous. Although you are always traveling and preaching, still you take time to connect with us. It’s your simplicity and hard work which makes it possible for me to try and personally rectify my mindset.

Guru Maharaja, your instructions on home Deity worship and temple Deity worship have been my anchor in this life. Each of your disciple can find their devotional niche by listening to your lectures and by your association. Once again, I thank you, my family thanks you for the love, patience, and mercy you have showered upon us. Hare Krsna.
