My dear and most respected spiritual master and eternal father,

Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of your most merciful lotus feet! All glories to you, Guru Maharaja and Srila Prabhupada!

Guru Maharaja, as I gather my thoughts to express my gratitude to you on Vyasa-puja, I want to thank Srila Prabhupada for your most munificent presence in our lives. I always think of his causeless mercy without which what is my own personal merit to have you as an eternal father?

Over the years, when I was indecisive, your words from hearing classes, answers to questions and responses to my emails guided me immensely. They gave me confidence that I am walking on the right path. Guru Maharaja, I seek blessings to continue to endeavor to apply the teachings and keep the antenna on to be able to receive those instructions.

Guru Maharaja, over the years, I can’t express how you have inspired me in the path of Krsna consciousness with your acar (by way of doing). Effortlessly following the Founder-acarya and gratitude culminating in service to him are very inspiring. You remained my well-wisher through all my shortcomings. sastras have mentioned about the qualities of the spiritual master and Srila Prabhupada, through his purports, details them. I feel every word described is so very aptly describing you, Guru Maharaja.

The days I remain critical of my own flaws, I remember to accept and progress. It gives me a sense of the right direction instead of overly being critical. I feel extremely grateful for my godsisters and godbrothers as they also have extended your compassion and kindness for my spiritual well-being.

Guru Maharaja, I sincerely seek your blessings and never-failing compassion as I endeavor to improve my japa through prayers to Krsna and Balarama. Also, I pray that I will continue to receive your guidance towards my goal of attaining krsna-prema. Please, please, please guide me, Guru Maharaja.

Guru Maharaja, I seek forgiveness at your lotus feet for all my mistakes. My mistakes are endless. I am surely the most fallen of all. Please empower me to serve you and Srila Prabhupada forever.
