Respected Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet.  All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

  1. On the occasion of Vyasa-puja day, I would like to express my gratitude and glorification with the explicit goal of cleansing my mind from the inauspicious bad qualities of li-PAGE (short name for lust, illusion, pride, anger, greed, envy) and to develop auspicious good qualities of m-CAT (mercy, cleanliness, austerity, tolerance) and to develop love for the Guru and Krsna; To decrease LOM (Love of Mind / maya / money / matter) and to increase LOG (Love of God / Krsna). Reference: Gundica marjanam pastime
  2. Gratitude:Thank you Maharaja for sending your disciples to Indian Institutes of Technology-Delhi and Andhra University at Visakhapatnam and providing association to practice devotional service with Krsna consciousness. Thank you so much for showering your mercy in the form of providing the opportunity of chanting the holy name, arrangement of prasadam club for cooking, reading Prabhupada’s books, your seminars on Madhurya Kadambini in 1998 at Vizag, and finally for accepting me as your disciple through formal initiation at Chitrakoot on the day of Kartika-purnima of 2017.

Thank you so much for giving your remnants of food while I was at Visakhapatnam as student and thank you so much for giving the service of ironing your clothes at Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. Because of all these services you gave me at a young age, I strongly feel that I have got devotional feelings of Krsna consciousness to cling on serving Krsna and also distributing the same mercy that I got from you to others.

  3. Glorification: The lectures that you give are very deep and make any serene person think about where he is going wrong. For example, in the article that you wrote about S.M.A.R.T. parenting in the book of “Art of Parenting”. In that article, you are saying that allowing the child’s package of“guna and karma”to manifest and simultaneously, keeping them under Krsna’s shelter is a beautiful summary of Srila Vyasadev’s inner mood of parenting skills. In the same article, you also said another beautiful example of the ladder to Vaikuntha. If the child is in a second step of the ladder and if the parents can bring the child from second step to third step of the ladder to Vaikuntha, that is also successful execution of the duties of parents.

Generally, almost all parents immaturely want to project their children to be pure Vaisnava in front of devotee community, without considering the package of the guna and karma of their child. Due to this mentality, the child most of the time takes drastic steps to move away from devotional service, when he gets into the age of 18 to 20.
Thank you very much for making me understand the balance of allowing package of guna and karma and at the same time providing Krsna’s shelter. This principle will be more or less same with any relationship between teacher and student, husband and wife or parents and children.

  4. As it is the custom or duty of the son or disciple to ask the father or spiritual master on their appearance days, please let me know if you have any desire / service of yours that your disciple is capable of fulfilling within his limited capacity. Please forgive me and correct me if anything is written improperly or offensively.

Your aspiring servant,
