Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances onto your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and you!
Dear Guru Maharaja, you appeared on the auspicious day of December 27th in the state of New York on the other side of the Atlantic. In the early years, you followed your spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, and devoted your whole life to his instructions. You are a general in our sampradaya. You are tall, handsome, gentle, amiable, tolerant, humble, and kind. You are a loyal disciple of Srila Prabhupada and a close companion and representative of Krsna! To follow the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, you have been tirelessly traveling to different parts of the world for decades, delivering the transcendental knowledge of Krsna and the mature fruits of Vedic literature to all living beings in the society. You hold an equal perspective and are full of compassion for all sentient beings. Over the years, the seeds of love that you have sown with sweet dew has already taken root and sprouted, growing into love vines, thriving and fruitful, with peaches and plums all over the world!
Dear Guru Maharaja, your teachings are like a beacon of knowledge, illuminating the eyes of the conditioned soul in the darkness, purifying the perception within! Through your love and kindness, I, who have been struggling to survive deeply in the darkness, have seen the dawn and infinite vitality under your kind protection. This fallen soul is used to be extremely ignorant, selfish, useless, and filled with various impurities in its heart. But you still accepted and tolerated me, giving this sinful soul a chance to be reborn – Receive your guidance, listen to the scriptures, sing praises of the mandala, learn and practice, study the scriptures, and associate with the devotees.
Dear Guru Maharaja, I bow to your lotus feet again. The lotus feet of spiritual master are the only way by which I can attain pure devotional. By your grace I can cross the ocean of material suffering and obtain the mercy of Krsna. Our spiritual master, you are the ocean of mercy, the friend of the poor, and the lord and master of the devotees. Only with the shade of your lotus feet can I escape from the ocean of material suffering.
You have been following the teachings of your guru throughout your life, to fulfill the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. You are my perfect role model. I will strive to follow your teachings and become a tool under your lotus feet.
I pray to Lord Nrsimha to protect Guru Maharaja preaching smoothly, and wish you good health!
