My dearest Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to your lotus feet! Your lotus feet are our eternal refuge.
Time flies—it has been almost two years since we last met. During this time, I have often thought of your transcendental presence—your kind smile, graceful manners, and wise words. On the occasion of your Vyasa-puja, I wish to offer to you all the pious results of my humble and imperfect practices. Praying to Lord Krsna to kindly protect you and if He so desires allow me to be in your presence to glorify Him together.
Dear Father, with deep loyalty and love for Srila Prabhupada, and firm faith in the holy name of Lord Krsna, you came to China to fulfill his mission. You overcame many difficulties to tirelessly spread Krsna consciousness in this land. The hardships and challenges you have experienced are beyond imagination. I am not qualified to be your disciple, but it is your causeless mercy that gave me spiritual life. You brought new meaning, sweetness, and color to my existence, and guidance on the path back home. You have cared for my spiritual growth with great attention. You are my savior, my benefactor, and the master of my soul I humbly prostrate myself before your lotus feet!
Dear Father, I know that only by your mercy can I practice devotional service in my daily life. Only by your blessings can I cross the ocean of material suffering. Without your grace, my spiritual journey would be impossible. The words that flowed from Your lotus mouth have purified my consciousness and cleansed my soul. I will always remember your teachings and will try to put them into practice. The teachings of my spiritual master are the standard I must follow. My only wish is to serve Guru, Krsna, and the devotees. This is also for the pleasure of Guru and Krsna, to help awaken my eternal relationship with Sri Krsna. I am determined to perfect my Krsna consciousness and return to His abode to serve Him forever.
On the journey of life, you have enriched my mind, guided my intelligence, and lit a light of hope in my heart. You have illuminated my path with fire of vitality. I wish you a happy, healthy, and safe birthday. All glories to dearest Guru Maharaja! All glories to most auspicious Vyasa-puja! You have brought the light of transcendental knowledge to this fallen soul in the dark age of Kali. Your teachings and instructions are my life and soul.
I humbly beg you, my spiritual father, to protect me. Only by taking shelter at the lotus feet of the spiritual master can one reach the spiritual world safely. I humbly pray to Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna to bless my Guru Maharaja Romapada Swami with eternal health, happiness and a successful mission. All glories to your auspicious appearance day.
