Dear Gurudeva,

Please allow me, a fallen soul, to respectfully prostrate myself at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

I am very glad to be your disciple. You have always cared for my spiritual growth like a father. I cannot express my gratitude in words. I can only remember your teachings, strive to learn the knowledge of devotion from sastra, put it to practice, focus on chanting of japa, and strive to spread kindness. I hope to become a useful tool in your hands as soon as possible. Without your unconditional mercy, my path would be full of darkness, and I would not be able to move forward. Without your mercy, I would not be able to escape the ocean of material suffering. Without your mercy it would be impossible for me to know Krsna. You are like a bright lamp, guiding me on the way back home.

Over the past year, you have always managed to spare time from your busy schedule to share the pastimes of Radha and Krsna with the devotees in China. You have always followed the mission of Srila Prabhupada and cared deeply for each one of your disciples. I always hope that I will write to you more. I am so decadent and always cause you worry. Every week, I meet with the devotees, strive to serve them, and be grateful for the spiritual nourishment they have given me. I am fortunate to grow up in a big, loving family, where we learn, chant, discuss sastra, worship deities, collaborate, and encourage each other along with the devotees’ families. This also allows me to see many excellent Vaisnava qualities in them. In the days to come, I will also strive to undertake study of sastric courses, be a warm-hearted person and serve more people.

Dear Gurudeva, Happy birthday! Good health!

Your daughter,
