Manjulali devi dasi
Dear Guru Maharaja,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you, my most respected Gurudeva! Today is your birthday. I wish you a very happy birthday!
I will always remember your mercy and grace throughout my life. Gurudeva, you nourish and take care of a soul like me—an insignificant and ignorant disciple. I call out to you with all my heart. Every word of your teachings resonates in my ears, and no other power can replace them. In the past three years, your teachings and mercy have been both gentle and nourishing, yet also deep and profound. They have helped me grow slowly out of ignorance bit by bit. The Bhagavad-gita is rebuilding and nourishing me. I firmly believe that many years from now, The Nectar of Instruction will continue to shine like a lighthouse, guiding me and others toward true bhakti.
Dear Gurudeva, I often think of you as that lighthouse light—standing tall in the darkness, like a giant. You care for and guide those walking on the path of bhakti, helping them find their way back home. Your disciples may not have met you at what seems the best time, but after meeting you, we understand it was the best arrangement.
Dear Gurudeva! In the blink of an eye, years have passed, and time never stops. But in my heart, you are always the dearest person, who is full of wisdom and love, who gives me endless warmth and strength. Your birthday is not just an ordinary day. It is a most precious moment for us, your children, as we celebrate your birth and presence among us. Here, I pray to send you my most sincere wishes.
May your birthday be full of sunshine and good luck. May every day be wonderful. I wish you good health, peace in the days to come.
Please allow me to express my deep gratitude to you. Thank you for your constant help and teachings. Thank you for replying to my letters, giving me strength and guidance. You are my guru, my father, my teacher, my confidant, and the most precious and beautiful wealth in my life!
Once again, happy birthday, Guru Maharaja! I pray for your long life. May this special day also be a day for me to grow and make spiritual progress as a humble fallen soul. I look forward to diving deeper into the vast ocean of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Happy birthday to Guru Maharaja.
Your disciple and daughter,
