Dear Guru Maharaja,

Hare Krsna. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-puja, my heart is filled with gratitude to you for accepting me as a part of your spiritual family.

As I experience old age and its accompanying health issues, I am learning to rely more and more on the association of the holy name. Regular sadhana of chanting and hearing helps me focus my consciousness on the ultimate goal of life. As you often say, focus on problems alone will only drain my energy.

The service of learning and teaching, though in a small measure, helps me in two ways. One is the sharing of knowledge with devotees. Second is the upliftment of my own consciousness.

Thus, I am trying my best, Maharaja, to remember Krsna under all circumstances. I am trying to draw inspiration from Srila Prabhupada’s life and your life.

I request you to kindly bless me in my endeavor, so that I progress in my spiritual life.
