Guru Maharaja, your merciful presence in my life, opportunity to hear from you connects me into the disciplic succession, and is the source of all auspiciousness and perfect knowledge.
Every time I read the celebrated verse of Bhagavad-gita 4.34, I feel Srila Prabhupada blesses us with a clearer vision on the need and importance of developing spiritual understanding by accepting shelter of a bona fide spiritual master with singular purpose to revive our relationship with Lord Sri Krsna: the very purpose of human life.
“The path of spiritual realization is undoubtedly difficult. The Lord therefore advises us to approach a bona fide spiritual master in the line of disciplic succession from the Lord Himself. No one can be a spiritual master without following this principle of disciplic succession. The Lord is the original spiritual master, and a person in the disciplic succession can convey the message of the Lord as it is to his disciple.” [Bhagavad-gita 4.34 purport]
Guru Maharaja, by your following strictly the above mentioned principle, we become beneficiaries of that disciplic succession. Therefore, I feel my great fortune to be in your shelter. By your divine arrangement, I get to hear glories of the holy name and pastimes of the Lord and His pure devotees from your lotus mouth in midst of devotees with deeper insight and deliberations.

The above prayer blesses me to see reality that Lord Sri Krsna awarded me very mercifully a human body, a unique chance to obtain eternal freedom from dense darkness of ignorance inside just by faithfully hearing from you. By regularly hearing from you, my material desires, illusions and confusions are subsiding. I am getting inspiration to make my life as simple as possible to carry out your specific instructions by all possible means.
Guru Maharaja, I seek your special merciful glance upon me on this auspicious occasion of Vyasa-puja to develop natural gratitude, genuine attachment and pure service mood to your divine personality to understand your spiritual teachings, mood and mission.
