Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja, I offer my heartfelt gratitude for Your compassionate guidance and causeless mercy. My current life has meaning solely because You gave me shelter in the service of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s movement, over thirty years back.

By Your grace, I have been engaged in the service of book distribution, and each day on the street feels like an extension of your mercy. When people take Srila Prabhupada’s books, I remember that I am only an instrument and that all success belongs to the spiritual master. The joy of seeing someone receive transcendental knowledge reaffirms my conviction that this is Srila Prabhupada’s movement—your mission—and I am simply fortunate to assist in a small way.

Your encouragement to regularly attend temple programs has brought so much stability and nourishment to my spiritual life. By being in the association of devotees, hearing classes, and participating in kirtana and seva, I feel more connected to You, my dear spiritual master, and the entire disciplic succession. It protects me from laziness, pride, and spiritual complacency.

I aspire to always remain chaste to Srila Prabhupada—in thought, word, and action. You constantly emphasize fidelity to his mood, teachings, and standards. In a world of distractions and deviations, your unwavering loyalty to Srila Prabhupada is my compass. I pray to reflect even a fraction of that sincerity in my own life.

I am full of imperfections, yet you continue to guide and encourage me. I beg you for the strength to serve without selfishness, to preach with compassion, and to chant the holy name sincerely. Please never let me forget that the greatest offering I can make is to follow your instructions with determination.

Thank you, Guru Maharaja, for giving me a life of purpose, a family of devotees, and the priceless opportunity to serve in Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON.

Begging to remain your aspiring servant,
Sri Vrndavana devi-dasi
